32/52

wee baby j - sweet face but our little j has found his cross voice (and accompanying mean right hook) of late. also, he can stand up, no hands!
o-o - free-ranging in edale with papa m and uncle tom. here are m and o-o cooling off during their 12K hike (pretty impressive distance for a not-yet-four-year-old non?). despite the babbling fresh water visible in the left of the shot o-o insisted on paddling the adjacent stagnant pool, much to m's exasperation (photo by my brother tom)
my little bro tom is an outdoor instructor, he's just started blogging* about his adventures here. expect lovely photos of some of our most beautiful wild places, succinct descriptions and (soon) tips about introducing a newborn to the great outdoors (so excited). you can see his post about his trip to edale with o-o and m here
i'm taking part in the 52 project, you can see all my 52 posts here and my three/52 selection here

buttercups

there were gaggles of them growing on the verges and around the edges of the fields when we were in somerset. o-o did the customary test and confirmed that we all love butter.
